There's some pretty scary business happening these days in Congress and in Virginia. Last week on Capitol Hill, a committee of eight men and a male chair, spoke about how they felt persecuted by Pres. Obama's birth control mandate in the Affordable Care Act. The first version of the bill required non-houses of worship to subsidize the cost of female employees' birth control. Conservatives threw a fit, and the Obama administration tempered the bill by adding a compromise that would require insurance companies to subsidize the cost of birth control in religious institutions.

When I was a kid, The Truth About Cats and Dogs was one of my favorite movies. The movie, which starred Uma Thurman, Janeane Garofalo and Ben Chaplin, is a play on Cyrano de Bergerac, featuring one leading lady as the brains and the other as the body. Re-watching the film, I was surprised by the anti-feminist undertones, and the premise of the film, which relied on Janeane Garofalo being unattractive. He is a supporter of Republican candidates, such as Mitt Romney, and is speaking against the provision in Obama’s Affordable Care Act that requires companies to make reasonable accommodations for breastfeeding mothers.
1) Women Stop Dating and Relationships. I have noticed something that may be a national trend, for it is so drastic and I live in an extremely conservative area. From last year's Obama government statistics on Women, black women head this trend of being single and staying single. But I see, in my area of dual incomes and the top 1%ers quantitatively-speaking, more grown women that are my father's baby boomer age of 40-50 years old who simply do not date, have an interest in dating, nor have any particular focus on the entire process of the Mate Game.
