I believe that this article is pretty biased. You mean to tell me that just because men like to play games such as Call Of Duty and Mass Effect, they are disqualified as gamers? Video games were originally invented by MEN as a way to entertain themselves. Most video games are about self preservation and if you lack that instinct, then I worry about you. I really do. Bejeweled, by the way, is just a modernized form of Tetris, but graphically, it looks about the same. The stomach wrenching in games such as Call Of Duty and Mass Effect exist because as humans, we love to see how far we've gotten  technologically and socially, which is akin to looking down upon the Earth from a space shuttle while talking to ground control. So, instead of asking why men don't play video games, you can try asking why chimpanzees don't play video games.
